By inviting, connecting to, or otherwise using the On Point Leads Discord Bot ("the Bot," "we," "us," or "our"), you ("you," "user," or "staff member") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must immediately cease all use of the Bot and remove it from your Discord server.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and On Point Leads. If you are using the Bot on behalf of an organization or agency, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
Important: The Bot interacts with Stripe payment systems and handles sensitive customer and financial data. By using the Bot, you acknowledge that you understand the responsibilities and risks outlined in these Terms.
The On Point Leads Discord Bot is an order processing and workflow automation tool designed for insurance lead generation operations. When a successful Stripe payment is received, the Bot automatically creates a dedicated Discord forum thread for staff to claim, process, and complete the order.
The Bot provides the following functionality:
The Bot is designed to be extensible, with future automations potentially including GoHighLevel customer creation, Discord role assignment, onboarding email sequences, lead campaign provisioning, and onboarding task tracking — all attached to the same Discord thread.
The Bot requires specific Discord permissions to function, including but not limited to: Send Messages, Create Public Threads, Manage Threads, Manage Messages, Read Message History, and Use External Emojis. You are responsible for granting the necessary permissions when inviting the Bot to your server.
Your use of the Bot is also subject to Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and Developer Terms of Service. You must comply with all applicable Discord policies while using the Bot.
Server administrators are responsible for configuring the forum channel, staff roles, and appropriate permissions within their Discord server. On Point Leads is not responsible for misconfiguration of Discord server settings.
The Bot operates within a designated Discord forum channel named "stripe-orders." You must create and configure this channel before the Bot can process orders. Thread titles, tags, and content are managed automatically by the Bot.
The Bot integrates with Stripe to receive payment notifications. Stripe processes all payments — the Bot does not directly handle, store, or transmit payment card data. All payment processing is governed by Stripe's own Terms of Service and privacy policies.
The Bot responds to the following Stripe webhook events:
Important: The Bot does not initiate, authorize, capture, refund, or modify payments. It only receives notifications from Stripe and creates corresponding workflow threads. All payment actions are performed through Stripe directly or through other application components.
While the Bot displays payment information received from Stripe, On Point Leads does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of payment data displayed in Discord threads. Always verify payment status directly in your Stripe dashboard before fulfilling orders.
Upon receiving a successful payment notification from Stripe, the Bot creates a new forum thread in the "stripe-orders" channel. The thread title follows the format: {Customer Name} • ${Amount}. The initial post contains an embedded message with customer details, payment information, a staff checklist, and interactive control buttons.

The Bot automatically applies and updates Discord forum tags to reflect the current order status:
Staff members are encouraged to use the order thread for internal notes and updates (e.g., "CRM completed," "Lead campaign activated," "Welcome email sent"). All comments within a thread remain permanently attached to the payment record, providing a complete operational history.
The Bot posts automated messages at key milestones:
Only authorized staff members with the designated Discord role may interact with the Bot's controls. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Discord account and for all activities performed under your account.
Staff members are responsible for accurately processing orders, verifying payments, and completing the staff checklist before marking an order as complete. The Bot provides workflow tracking but does not verify the accuracy or completeness of staff actions.

All staff communications within order threads are logged and retained. On Point Leads reserves the right to review thread content for quality assurance, dispute resolution, and compliance purposes.
The Bot collects and stores the following data for each order:
Collected data is used solely for order processing, workflow management, performance tracking, and audit purposes. Data is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
The Bot processes Discord user IDs, usernames, and message content as part of its normal operation. This data is handled in accordance with Discord's Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
Note: The Bot does not store, process, or transmit payment card information, bank account numbers, or other sensitive financial credentials. All payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe in accordance with PCI DSS standards.
The Bot integrates with and passes data to the following third-party services:
Each third-party service has its own privacy policy and terms of service that govern how they handle data. You are encouraged to review their policies.
Order data, including Discord thread content, staff assignments, and processing timestamps, is retained indefinitely to maintain a permanent audit trail of all transactions and operational actions. This retention supports dispute resolution, compliance, and quality assurance.
Discord thread content is subject to Discord's own data retention policies. On Point Leads stores metadata about each order in its internal database, which persists independently of Discord thread availability.
If you wish to request deletion of specific data, you may submit a request through the contact information provided in Section 16. On Point Leads will review and respond to data deletion requests in accordance with applicable data protection laws, noting that certain data may be retained for legal, compliance, or audit purposes.
The Bot is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. On Point Leads does not warrant that:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, On Point Leads disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Warning: Do not rely solely on the Bot for critical business operations. Always maintain independent verification processes for payment confirmation, order fulfillment, and customer communication.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall On Point Leads, its officers, directors, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
The total aggregate liability of On Point Leads arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Bot shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Bot service in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. If no payment has been made, liability shall be limited to USD $50.
Important: Because the Bot interacts with payment systems and customer data, you are strongly encouraged to maintain appropriate business insurance coverage. On Point Leads is not responsible for losses arising from unprocessed or incorrectly processed orders.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless On Point Leads, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or relating to:
On Point Leads reserves the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which case you will cooperate with On Point Leads in asserting any available defenses.
On Point Leads reserves the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue the Bot, or any part of its functionality, at any time and without prior notice. We may release new features, change existing behavior, or deprecate functionality as the service evolves.
If On Point Leads makes material changes to the Bot's functionality that affect payment processing or order management workflows, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users in advance through Discord announcements or direct communication.
On Point Leads shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Bot.
On Point Leads reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When material changes are made, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. Your continued use of the Bot after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must cease use of the Bot and remove it from your Discord server.
Notice: Material changes may include updates to data handling practices, liability limitations, payment processing terms, or staff responsibilities. We recommend reviewing these Terms at least monthly.
You may terminate your use of the Bot at any time by removing it from your Discord server and revoking its permissions.
On Point Leads may terminate or suspend your access to the Bot at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:
Upon termination, all data retained by On Point Leads will continue to be stored in accordance with the data retention policy in Section 8. Discord threads created by the Bot will remain in your Discord server unless you choose to delete them.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Bot shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Utah. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of these courts and waive any objection to venue or inconvenient forum.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
